FAUX ON WALL USING METALLIC PEARL GLAZE

The faux on this wall was done using a pearlescent glaze giving this guest room a sophisticated look. You can get different looks with this same technique by changing the base wall color!

The door trim was fauxed like zebra wood grain, the crown

molding detailed with bronze and gold.

CHINESE MURAL

Here is a mural we did for a client in Beverly Hills. It started in the front foyer, making it’s way into the stairwell, and sweeping up the stairs to follow the wall around the upper level landing. Each wall section is a work of art on it’s own!

BEFORE & AFTER

Passion of Asia

Passionate red and Asian tranquility are combined on this wall to create an eye catching mural that greets customers as they walk through the door of this Pasadena furniture store.  As artists we appreciate the opportunity to create on such a large canvas!  (626) 584-0818 Virginia fair Studios

Stairway to imagination

This is a “trompe-l’œil” piece Virginia and Jay produced to fit into an existing door the client had hanging on the wall as a piece of art.  So we created this stairway that leads to a secret room at the top. (626) 584-0818 Virginia Fair Studios

OUR LATEST DESIGNS AND MURALS THIS PAST YEAR :

RAISED PLASTER DESIGN

The raised motif on this ceiling was created using a design plaster-quick dried to produce a weathered cracking, then aged using glazes to give an authentic old world look. It was done on panels in our shop then installed on site. A faux glazing gave the walls a parchment look…

JACKSON HOLE,  WYOMING

This is a mural we created for a client in Wyoming.  It was painted in our studio using a color pallet of sepia tone on tone colors, the canvas was then delivered to the residence in Wyoming where it was then installed as wallpaper would be. Final touch up and color washes were added according to the lighting and interior of the house :
